black cherry chicken


  • chicken cooked on about 1/3 of a can of black cherry cola
  • seasoned with dry rub by buttrub and rubbed with a light coat of mayonnaise first so it will stick well.
  • Smoked over mesquite and oak at 280 until it was at 185 deg. 
  • glazed with a mixture of Tiger Sauce, Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ, honey and touch of butter.
  • let cook another 15 min 
  • pull off smoker and let rest under foil tent for about 20 min and enjoy.
