Fajita Monkey Bread

  • 1 (12 OZ) pork sausage (Spicy)
  • 1 red or yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 (1 oz) pkg. fajita seasoning mix (or homemade equivalent)
  • 2 (12 oz.) refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 1/2 c. (6 oz) shredded Mexican four-cheese blend

Brown sausage over medium heat, stirring as it crumbles.

Add peppers and cook until tender.

Drain, pressing with paper towels.
Stir in fajita mix.

Separate biscuits and cut into quarters.
Fold into sausage mixture and toss to coat.
Layer mixture and cheese in lightly greased tube pan.
Bake at 400 for 15 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.

(Keep watching to make sure biscuits are thoroughly cooked.)

Let stand in pan for 10 minutes. Invert onto serving plate and serve.

Hint: a Bread knife works best to cut into slices.
