- 16 oz can of crushed pineapple include juice
- 16 oz can of your favorite pie filling I used blueberry and apple for these. cherry also works well.
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1.5-2 cups pecans, chopped
- Combine pineapple and pie filling in a 9x13 cake pan, spread evenly.
- spread cake mix over the top.
- pour melted butter over that mixture.
- sprinkle with pecans and sugar
Bake for 45 min. at 375
Or if using smoker bake at about 250 for 1.5 hours. I do this quite often.
Best served with some whipped cream or cool whip topping.
