Site developed to share food ideas, not just BBQ. Also not only with friends and family but those I meet along the way. Often have been asked can that recipe so set this up to try and encourage myself to capture them. Often I just toss stuff not always following a script together but in order to reproduce I'm learning to take notes and photos as I'm in the kitchen or backyard cooking. Soap Try II used a PVC pipe for mold, ok back to normal mold.

6 oz coconut oil
24.5 oz Crisco shortening
34 oz Canola oil
4 oz glycerin
8.56 oz lye and 24.51 water (used cold coffee for this batch)

Once made and cooled for molding added a small bottle of Spicy Apple scent oil. Turned out nice but little soft may add some stearic acid next time to stiffen it a little.
